Mega Sports X ("Mega Sports X", "we", "our", or "us") is a sports registration and tournament-management platform operated by IIITIHAS UNIVERSAL PRIVATE LIMITED.
Mega Sports X is designed to provide a digital sports ecosystem for athletes, players, coaches, academies, federations, associations, event organisers, referees, event managers, administrators, and other authorised sports personnel.
The platform provides player registration, sports identity management, federation identity management, event registration, event cards, QR-based verification, attendance management, tournament management, draws, seeding, bye/rest management, match scheduling, referee management, live scoring, match results, rankings, medals, certificates, notifications, live tournament information, sports history, public results, administrative services, sponsor/promotional content, and live streaming.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Mega Sports X collects, why it collects it, how it is used, how it may be shared, how it is protected, how long it may be retained, and how users can request deletion.
By creating an account or using Mega Sports X, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Mega Sports X collects information that is reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve its services. The information collected may vary depending on the user's role and the features used.
When creating an account, Mega Sports X may collect: Full name, Mobile/phone number, Email address, Authentication information, OTP verification information, Login/session information, Account preferences, User role. Phone OTP may be used to verify ownership of a mobile number and secure access to the account.
For player registration and sports-management purposes, Mega Sports X may collect: Full name, Father's name, Mother's name, Date of birth, Gender, Photograph, Phone number, Email address, Residential address, State, District, Pincode, Sport, Discipline, Federation, Federation ID, Club, Academy, Coach, Age category, Gender category, Weight category. This information may be required for player identification, eligibility verification, event registration, tournament participation, results, certificates, and rankings.
Mega Sports X may generate a unique player identification number for registered players. The player ID may remain associated with the player's sports history and may be used for player identification, event registration, sports participation, federation identification, match records, results, medals, certificates, rankings, and historical sports records. A player may participate in multiple sports and events while maintaining the same platform identity.
Mega Sports X may collect and maintain sport-specific information, including: Sport, Discipline, Federation, Federation ID, Federation verification status, Club, Academy, Coach, Category, Ranking, Achievements, Event history. Where a player participates in multiple sports, separate sport/federation information may be associated with the player's account.
Where required for legitimate player verification, eligibility, federation verification, event participation, fraud prevention, or other authorised purposes, Mega Sports X may collect: Government-issued identification information, Government ID documents, Federation ID documents, Federation credentials, Uploaded verification documents, Photograph verification information, Verification status, Verification date, Verification records.
Government identification information and verification documents are treated as restricted information. Mega Sports X will use reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorised access to such information. Government ID documents and sensitive identification information are not intended to be displayed publicly.
Mega Sports X may provide: Player cards, Event cards, QR codes, QR-based identity verification, QR-based attendance verification. QR codes may contain or reference secure identifiers or tokens. QR codes are not intended to directly expose Government ID numbers, Passwords, Payment credentials, or Sensitive personal information. Depending on the user's role and authorisation, QR verification provides necessary administrative details such as Player name, Player ID, Sport, Federation ID, Event ID, Category, Registration status, Payment status, Attendance, and Draw information.
When a player registers for an event, Mega Sports X may process: Event name, Event ID, Sport, Federation, Organiser, Venue, Event dates, Registration deadline, Category, Age category, Gender category, Weight category, Registration status, Payment status, Event card, Draw position, Seed, Attendance, Match information. The system may perform eligibility checks before registration or payment (Age, Gender, Weight, Sport, Federation, State/district rules, Category rules, Event rules, Registration limits).
When a player participates in a tournament managed through Mega Sports X, the platform may process: Tournament format, Seeding, Draw, Bye/rest information, Brackets, Pools, Groups, Match assignments, Match ID, Mat, Referee, Round, Timer, Scores, Scoring actions, Results, Winner/loser, Attendance, Walkover, Withdrawal, Medical withdrawal, Disqualification, Medal, Ranking, Certificate, Competition history. This information is used to administer tournaments and maintain accurate competition records.
Mega Sports X may record: Match start, Match completion, Round, Timer, Break duration, Score, Scoring actions, Score corrections, Referee confirmation, Match result, Winner, Next-match assignment, Match status, Timestamps. The platform may maintain audit records of important changes to tournament information.
Authorised event personnel may use QR scanning to verify Player identity, Active event registration, Event card, Payment status, Category, Attendance. Attendance records may include: Present, Absent, No-show, Walkover, Withdrawn, Medical withdrawal, Disqualified.
Mega Sports X may generate certificates for Participation, Winner, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Referee, Organiser, Volunteer. Certificates may contain: Player name, Event, Sport, Category, Position, Date, Certificate ID, QR verification information. Certificate verification may be publicly available where enabled by the platform.
Mega Sports X may maintain sport-specific rankings and historical sports records. Ranking information considers factors such as Tournament level, Medal, Match wins, Opponent strength, Participant count, and Federation rules. Sports history includes Events, Matches, Results, Medals, Certificates, Rankings, Achievements. Historical records may remain available after an event has been completed where necessary to maintain official competition records.
Certain sports information may be publicly displayed for legitimate sports-management purposes: Player name, Photograph, Sport, Achievements, Rankings, Results, Medal information, Certificate verification information, Federation information where permitted. Mega Sports X does NOT publicly display Passwords, Government ID documents, Payment credentials, Private contact information, or sensitive personal data.
Mega Sports X may facilitate payments for Player registration, Event registration fees, Event cards, Category fees, Certificate-related services, and Renewal services. Payment records include Transaction ID, Player ID, Event ID, Amount, Payment gateway, Payment status, Timestamp, and Invoice information. Payment processing is performed through authorised third-party payment providers.
Mega Sports X does NOT store complete Credit card numbers, Debit card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, or Banking passwords on Mega Sports X servers. Payment providers independently collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and security standards.
The production application may use an authorised payment gateway such as Razorpay, Stripe, or another appropriate payment provider. Payment transaction information may be shared with the payment provider to complete, verify, reconcile, refund, or investigate a transaction.
Mega Sports X processes payments relating to physical sports-event participation and physical event services. Where Google Play Billing is not required for physical services, an appropriate external payment provider is used. If digital goods or subscriptions subject to Google Play Billing are introduced, applicable Google Play requirements will be followed.

Mega Sports X may display advertisements, sponsor logos, promotional banners, and sports-related promotions on Home, Events, Live scoreboards, Player pages, Certificates, and Application screens. Applicable advertising data collection is declared in Google Play Data Safety.
If advertising SDKs collect Android Advertising ID, such practices are disclosed in Google Play Data Safety declarations. If configured for children or Families target audiences, Google Play Families advertising requirements are enforced.
May use analytics and crash-reporting services to detect crashes, diagnose errors, improve performance, and monitor app reliability.
Integrates third-party SDKs for Payment processing, Authentication, OTP, Push notifications, Cloud hosting, Analytics, Crash reporting, and Live streaming. Third-party practices are reflected in Google Play Data Safety declarations.
Camera access is explicitly requested only when a user chooses QR scanning functionality for player verification, event-card check-in, attendance, or certificate verification. Camera access is not used for unrelated purposes.
Sends operational notifications relating to registration, payment, event approval, draws, match readiness, results, certificates, rankings, and schedule changes via Push notifications, In-app messages, SMS, or Email.
Supports live tournament streaming displaying Event name, Category, Player names, Match, Scores, Round, Timer, Mat, and Results via platforms such as YouTube Live.
Information is used for 30 defined purposes: Account creation, OTP phone verification, Player ID generation, Player identity verification, Federation ID verification, Eligibility checks, Event registration, Payment processing, Event cards, QR verification, Attendance, Draw generation, Bye/bracket management, Match scheduling, Referee assignment, Score recording, Results confirmation, Certificates, Rankings, Sports history, Notifications, Live scoreboards, Event details, Duplicate prevention, Fraud detection, Security, Audit records, Support, Performance, Legal compliance.
Mega Sports X DOES NOT SELL personal or sensitive personal information.
Data is shared only with authorised Sports Federations, Event Organisers, Referees, Event Managers, District/State Administrators, Technical Service Providers, and Legal Authorities when required by law.
Implements technical and organizational safeguards: HTTPS encryption in transit, Role-based access control, Password hashing, Token security, API rate limiting, Secure QR tokens, Payment verification, Audit logs, Session management, and Cloud backups.
Retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for account administration, official sports records, tournament history, results, certificates, rankings, financial records, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Mega Sports X provides an in-app account deletion mechanism under Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. When completed, eligible personal data and credentials are deleted or anonymised.
Users unable to access the app can submit deletion requests online at https://iiitihas.com/delete-account or email iiitihasuniversal@gmail.com.
User account is deleted, profile data anonymised, credentials invalidated, sessions terminated, and uploaded documents deleted. Historical official sports records are retained where required for competition integrity.
Users may request deletion of eligible personal data by emailing iiitihasuniversal@gmail.com. Identity verification may be required.
Supports junior, youth, and senior sports categories. Information for minor participants is managed by parents, guardians, coaches, schools, or federation officials. We do not sell children's information.
Designed as a general sports-management platform for athletes, coaches, academies, federations, referees, organisers, and administrators. Declarations comply with Google Play Target Audience and Families policies.
Uses Player IDs, phone numbers, name, date of birth, and federation IDs to detect duplicate registrations and fraudulent accounts.
Referee tools may temporarily store match scores, timers, and results offline, synchronising securely once internet connectivity resumes.
Processes device model, OS version, app version, IP address, network status, error logs, and security logs declared in Google Play Data Safety.
Uses secure cloud infrastructure with contractual and technical safeguards governing cross-border processing.
Users have rights to Access personal data, Correct inaccurate information, Request account deletion, Request data removal, Withdraw consent, and raise privacy inquiries.
Users must provide accurate information. Submitting fraudulent or misleading details leads to verification failure or account suspension.
Disclosures and affirmative consent mechanisms are provided prior to collecting sensitive feature data.
Promptly investigates, contains, and remediates security incidents, notifying affected users where required by law.
Material updates will be reflected in the Last Updated date and communicated via the app, website, or email.
Maintains accurate Google Play Data Safety declarations covering Personal Info, Identity Info, Financial Info, App Activity, Photos/Files, and Technical Info.
Third-party payment gateways, analytics, and cloud services operate under their own respective privacy policies.
